Next Generation Cakes by T is more than a name—it’s a tribute. My mother was a cake artist in the 1970s, 1980s and early 1990s, crafting buttercream blooms and royal icing string work with a grace that felt like magic. I grew up watching her pipe roses that bloomed before my eyes, each one a quiet masterclass in patience and wonder. That artistry rooted itself in me—and grew.
Today, I carry her legacy forward through quilling: delicate spirals of edible paper, folded and curled by hand to capture movement and memory in sugar. It’s my way of telling stories in texture and light, blending nostalgia with something new.
What began as a love for sweet details has become a devotion to edible storytelling—where nature’s quiet grace and the art of the handmade meet in every flourish.
These aren’t just cakes. They’re edible heirlooms—whimsical in spirit, soulful in execution, and forever inspired by the artist who piped the first rose.
